Fresh Dressing

It was a very productive day for learning in school again as chef Norbert Gandler demonstrated to us how to make salads & dressing. I'm paving goodbye to the usual "Knorr" salad dressing that i buy from supermarkets in Qatar, i finally learned how to make my own thousand island, ceasar salad dressing and balsamic vinaigrette. And not to forget, how to make fresh mayonnaise to begin with (but this is quite a handful, i need to whip a lot without the machine). Guess i need to acquaint myself with the greens available in the market. I just admire how chef Gandler prepared and garnished the salad dishes..it made me salivate! The best part of all, we had a feast of different salads served on the table. Teehee! Can't wait to try some of it at home.
